The more PC way to say this is probably: “Do you need a Reality Check?”!
At the end of the day, the only question you really need to ask yourself is:
“Did I give it my all today to take me closer to my goals?”
How did YOUR day really go?
How about your week?
How about your month?
Are you letting time slip by without really making any real progress?
Are you hoping things will just miraculously change in the future…and you kinda have your fingers crossed that
you will eventually make more money, be healthier, be happier etc?
Hey, I’ve been there!
To be completely transparent, in the years 2006-2008 (or thereabouts), I was really floundering.
Janak and I weren’t making a lot of money. In fact, money was REALLY tight! We were struggling, unhappy and stressed to the max.
We found out that some of our contracted personal trainers were stealing our clients, undercutting us, and training them on the side.
We found it easy to get clients in, but struggled to find trustworthy trainers to actually train them.
So with all this happening, our income started declining….
They were very challenging years to say the least…and I’ll tell you more about it over the next few emails!
I recall constantly saying to Janak,
“When will we make it out the other side and start making good money?”
“When will WE ever feel successful?”
For so many days I felt like I was dragging my feet. A BIG part of me believed that the future will be so much better, ONE DAY we will be really RICH, and I would have built up a successful company.
Unfortunately at the time, we were building upon a flawed business model….which would NEVER make us wealthy or free.
Wishing for things to change was my way of having my head firmly up my butt!
I was so oblivious. I needed a reality check asap…and I got one!
Once I had that…EVERYTHING CHANGED.
What’s your reality check?
Are your current actions, job, position, habits etc taking you closer to your goals?
- Write out your own Reality Check.
- Think up 5 Actionable Steps you can do to actually change things.
Something to ponder this week!
